What’s included in the cost of the Intermodal – Multi Carrier service?
The cost of Intermodal – Multi Carrier covers all transportation and handling fees for moving the container from the ocean terminal to its final inland destination.
For instance, if a container is transported by rail from the ocean terminal to an inland depot and then trucked to its end destination, the fee includes all intermodal transportation and handling costs during transit. Note that pick-up and drop-off charges are excluded, as these are covered by the respective ocean carrier you have selected.
