艙單提交有三種類型，且提交截止日期根據當地法規而不同：
- 「出口艙單」通常需在船舶從第一個裝貨港（針對最早出發）開航前兩 (2) 天，或者船舶從第一個裝貨港開航後兩 (2) 天（針對最晚出發）內提交。
- 「預報艙單」需在船舶抵達裝運港前 40 小時提交（針對停靠預報艙單目的港之船舶）。
- 「進口艙單」需在船舶抵達目的港前七 (7) 天（針對中長程航行）或船隻抵達目的港前兩 (2) 天（針對短程航行）提交。
