I want to try Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean, what do I do?
As a flexible product, you can choose to ship one, a few, or all your containers with reduced greenhouse gas footprint. To do this, please ask your sales representative to add Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean to your contract for all your container bookings or certain commodities or trades. The Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean charge amount is based on the required greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions per trade. This charge would be auto-applied to your bookings and appear as a Maersk ECO Delivery Ocean charge in the freight invoice.
You also have the opportunity to book ECO Delivery Ocean digitally and instantly via Maersk Spot or Maersk Go. This works as well for contracted customers that want to book their overflow.
