How do I release my bill of lading at destination to a 3rd party?
Your Bill of Lading can be transferred to the consignee or other shipment parties directly from Shipment Details for the shipment in question.
- From the hub homepage, enter the shipment number into the freetext search box and click View Details.
- Navigate to the Bill of Lading card on the right of the page and click Transfer Bill of Lading or B/L Release to authorise the relevant shipment party to print the BL themselves or collect from their local Maersk counter where available.
- Where relevant, use Electronic Cargo Release to surrender the BL and transfer ownership in just a few clicks.
