East Asia typhoon season: Update 1

Following our earlier customer advisory on the East Asia typhoon season, we wanted to take the opportunity to give you a further update on solutions in place for your supply chains.

What is the current situation

Recurring weather is driving congestion at many of the region’s busiest ports, resulting in a decrease in on-time vessel arrivals.

What to do next

We suggest you assess your current logistics set-up to identify where additional flexibility, and agility may be needed in the weeks ahead. You should review your priority shipments and where you can add additional buffer time.

For immediate solutions for time sensitive shipments, we can assist with air freight and inland transportation alternatives, helping ensure your critical cargo reaches destination via air or land. Additionally, we offer storage solutions in the form of cargo storage and warehousing services. Our depot network offers flexible storage options for both laden and empty containers and we can also assist with warehousing services.
