We would like to inform you about our upcoming financial system modernisation, as we transition to SAP S/4HANA in June 2026. We look forward to the benefits this new system will bring to our operations and want to keep you informed about the changes you may experience during and after the transition.

The transition will require us to temporarily suspend certain financial system functions. We are committed to minimising any inconvenience and ensuring the process is as seamless as possible. To help you prepare, we have provided an overview of the changes you may experience during and after the transition. Please review this information and make any necessary updates.

  1. Please note that during the system migration from 5 June to 8 June 2026, there will be delays in the invoice creation process for services provided in Taiwan. However, these invoices will be processed shortly after the expiration of the freeze period.

  2. There will be a change in the format of the invoice templates (PDF): Please note that, effective from 8 June 2026, invoices and credit notes will have a refreshed look, but rest assured that all the standard details you need will continue to be available. To enable a smooth transition, please check out the template links provided below and familiarise yourself with the highlighted changes, as you may need to make small adjustments to your system or EDI set-up for the new format to work smoothly. Please note that, depending on local requirements, invoice layouts may look slightly different.

  3. Maersk Logistics and Service products (except Maersk Contract Logistics products):

  4. Change in Invoice Type Descriptions: Please note that, effective 8 June 2026, customers receiving EDI invoices will notice updates to certain invoice type descriptions. As part of the S/4HANA transition, invoice document types will be simplified to two standard types only, replacing the current multiple document types. We kindly request that you review the changes listed below and share this information with your Information Technology (IT) team, Integration team, or third-party vendor to ensure alignment and a smooth transition.

  1. Change to the alignment of the rate of exchange: Please note that, from 8 June 2026, invoices will apply a single rate of exchange (ROE) to determine amounts in the nominated billing currency, based on the date the first invoice for the service is created. The same ROE will apply to all subsequent or reissued invoices, ensuring a consistent experience. This enhancement is designed to provide you with a faster, more reliable, and seamless invoicing experience.

The ROE will be sourced from our independent provider, LSEG (World Market Refinitiv). For more information, you can also view it in the MyFinance guide or visit myfinance.com. For Logistics & Services products, the ROE checking function is the only MyFinance function applicable. All other MyFinance functions are not available for L&S products so far.

To ensure accurate and timely processing, customers are required to make payments in the same currency as indicated on the invoice.

The solution will be available for the following entity in Taiwan:

  • Maersk Logistics & Services Taiwan Co., Ltd.

If you have any questions about the above, please contact your regular contact person. We would also like to encourage you to be proactive in preparing for the transition.

Please note that the dates mentioned in this advisory are related to the upcoming system modernisation. Our teams are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible for the parties involved. We will keep you informed about any updates or changes related to this transition.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our financial system to better serve you.
