We are pleased to announce new service enhancements in the ports of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. These improvements are designed to increase our reliability in the movement of goods and ensure we meet delivery timelines for Store Door shipments.
To support these enhancements, we are introducing a customs surcharge for in-transit customs clearance (T1D). This surcharge will help us accommodate specialized customs personnel who will expedite the clearance process at the ports. Our dedicated team will work closely with port authorities and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries by accelerating the processing of Transit Declarations (DUCA T).
Starting February 26th (Non US) March 26st (US based contracts), a surcharge of $60 USD per shipment crossing a border will be automatically applied, due to local regulations, to all quotations arriving via Maersk for Store Door shipments involving transportation to the aforementioned countries.
We understand the importance of timely deliveries and are committed to providing best-in-class service. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to minimize any adverse impact on your supply chain. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary.
If you have any questions or require assistance with your logistics planning, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
