In order to ensure a continued and sustainable inland transportation service for our customers, A.P. Moller-Maersk will be revising its inland tariff for Italy.
The revision will affect all import and export services to and from all Italian ports. Please see the below table for more information:
Revision Scope | Effective Date |
---|---|
Revision Scope
All inland transportation to Italian ports (import)
|
Effective Date
3rd August 2024 PCD*

Revision Scope
All inland transportation from Italian ports (export)

PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-Spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-Spot bookings.
To make our offer more accessible and simplified for customers, inland spot rates available on www.Maersk.com will now be offered with fuel included. Please note that the revised tariff includes the cost of fuel and will be reviewed and adjusted based on variations in the price of diesel for motor vehicles following the observations of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, provided that these variations exceed 2% of the value taken as reference at the time of last adjustment made.
The above will not apply to the Inland Rates structure agreed in contracts signed and/or entered into before 1st August 2024. These contracts will continue to be subject to FAF quarterly revision models.
