Truck

• Standard move in tandem basis from port to customer’s premises
• Terminal handling, tolls and 8 hours waiting time included in the rate
• Additional services offered upon request:
  • Additional stops
  • Additional waiting time
  • Single container transport
  • GPS Premium (GPS and Robbery Recovery Service)
  • Cargo insurance

Rail

• Combined rail: Maersk delivers the container at the customer’s premises
• Rail ramp: The customer picks up the container from the rail terminal

Please note the following restrictions that apply

• No OOG cargo
• No acceptance of reefer, nors, imo and special equipment under rail or rail+truck mode
• Acceptance of IMO is limited. Please check with PCM availability
• Maximum weight allowed, please refer to table below
• No acceptance of 45HQ and 20'RF containers
• Rates per container in Tandem Basis
  For single service an additional charge over inland rate will be applied 12 free hours for load/unload, an additional charge per container will be applied after this period of time HAZMAT, OOG, NORs, Reefers and special equipment cannot be loaded by rail.
  For overweight cargo an additional charge over inland rate will be applied.
  For HAZMAT cargo an additional charge over inland rate will be applied.

Inland Mexican regulations

NOM-087-SCT-2-2017: regulates driving and rest times for the inland sector. Unit’s operators must take a 30 minutes break after driving 5 hours, and 8 hours after driving 14 hours.

Import and Export All Truck: Delivery Order (Import)/Booking request (Export) must be received with at least 72 hours prior Customs clearance (Import) or loading date (Export).

Import and Export Rail+Truck: Delivery Order (Import)/Booking request (Export) must be received with at least 24 hours prior Customs clearance (Import) or loading date (Export).

Live load/unload free time

All customers will have 8 hours free time to live load/unload containers after container arrives to the warehouse.

SD (Carrier) requirements

To avoid delays, it is required to provide the next details on your Export and Import requests:

• Warehouse contact: Name and phone number.
• Customs Agent details: Name, Phone number, email address.
• Is it full or single: in case you require single movement extra cost needs to be accepted with the legend “Sencillo cargo aceptado”.
• Special requirements: Chassis, Platform, security equipment etc.

Empty container Return (Intermodal Product/ SD Movements)

• Local Movements: Once the trucking line and container is released from the customer facility, the container should be get in the depot within 24 hours.
• All truck Movements: Once the trucking line and container is released from the customer facility, the container should be get in the depot/terminal within 48 hours.

Where to place it?

• Export: on the “Instrucciones del transporte” field in your booking request.
• Import: On the “Comentarios/Requerimientos especiales/ (ejemplo: Chasis, Plataforma, etc.)” field in your Delivery order format.
