Restrictions Inland location / Off-Dock Terminal Movement	Comments As per terminal’s instruction, DG cargo (excluding IMO Class 1) is now allowed for shifting from Port Qasim to Karachi, NLCCT. This acceptance is only for Karachi, NLCCT. DG Cargo is not allowed at any other off-dock terminal/in-land yard in Pakistan. Please contact PK.Export@maersk.com
Restrictions Restriction in change in Delivery Mode/Place (COD)	Comments The shipper needs prior approval from Pakistan Customs in case of Change in Destination (different country) of his shipments. Please be prepared for extensive time and follow-up required for getting his COD case approved from Customs. For more information please contact PK.Export@maersk.com
Restrictions Personal Effects	Comments Personal effects is carried by Maersk through an NVOCC.
Restrictions Weight / Measurement	Comments No legal "over the road" weight limitation exists OOG cargo is accepted. Break Bulk is accepted. For more information please contact PK.Export@maersk.com
Restrictions Equipment	Comments Reefers are only accepted in Port Qasim yard. Reefers delivered from PICT and KICT can be returned to PMS KPT yard also. However, they can be accepted from inland points on case to case basis. Please contact PK.Export@maersk.com for further details. For all containers pay load should NOT exceed the weight limit mentioned on the CSC (container safety certificate) plate Special Equipment are only accepted/provided from DP World yard and PMS TPX yard DG cargo NOT allowed through Rail/Truck to inland Location For more information , please contact PK.Export@maersk.com

Telex release is conditionally accepted for Pakistan exports , if shipment moved under Carrier Master bill of lading (MBL) terms and shipper also provide bank documents from authorized bank.

As per state bank of Pakistan regulation and FE Circular No. 02 , Maersk cannot offer telex release service for export shipments in case Forwarder House bill of lading (HBL) involved in addition to Carrier Master bill of lading (MBL).

These regulations are published under link State Bank of Pakistan (sbp.org.pk) – refer- Point 6 . these regulations are applicable for all Shipping Companies’ and ‘Freight Forwarders’.
