We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the current situation affecting inland transportation services into and out of Mali, as well as the measures we are implementing to ensure service continuity.
The ongoing developments in Mali have resulted in a significant reduction in available trucking capacity along both the Côte d’Ivoire–Mali and Senegal–Mali corridors. This capacity shortage has driven a sharp increase in trucking costs across these routes.
To minimize disruptions and safeguard our people and partners, we have activated contingency measures designed to maintain operations with the lowest possible risk while continuing to deliver an acceptable service level to our customers.
As consequence of this market situation, our rates for movements into and from Mali have been adjusted to reflect the rising logistics costs. Updated price levels apply with immediate effect to all containers moving from the various ports into Mali, as well as from Mali to the respective ports.
The revised rates are subject to a security and haulage surcharge to account for the ongoing volatility in market conditions.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these challenges.
