What is required to complete Maersk Customs Services?

One-time process

Customer set up - To enable Maersk handle the shipment
Mandatory documents required:
- Certified copy of company registration
- Certified copy of VAT certificate/TAX ID
Lead-time:
- 2-3 days

Customs registration for adding broker - To enable Maersk process customs clearance on customer's behalf
Mandatory documents required:
- Completed for of Customs registration application (CHBDOC002_CUSTOMS REGISTRATION FORM NO.7)
- Certified copy of VAT Certificate/Tax ID
- Certified copy of ID Card/Passport of customer's authorized board director
- POA to register Customs (CHBDOC001_POA TO REGISTER CUSTOMS)
- Certified copy of customer's company affidavit (not over 3 months)
- Original ID Card/Passport of customer's authorized board director (when submitting customs)
Lead-time:
- 3-14 days

Signed power of attorney (POA) - This grants permission for Maersk to complete MCS on behalf of the customer
Mandatory documents required:
- Certified copy of Company registration
- Certificied copy of VAT Certificate/Tax ID
- Original ID Card/Passport of customer'sauthorized board director (when submitting customs)
- POA

Entry declaration
Mandatory documents required:
- Invoice & packing list
- Bill of Lading (import), booking confirmation (export)
- HS code, Form (if any)
