If you would like your supplier to make bookings as soon as the cargo is ready to be shipped, you can easily authorise your supplier to place bookings on your behalf.

Both buyers and suppliers can track a shipment by clicking on it in the platform's Shipments tab.

Standard Free Time is the period of time offered by a carrier to customers free of charge, covering both demurrage and detention periods.

When you initiate a search for a new shipment on Maersk Go, you have the option to ‘lock rate’. This means that you can freeze the daily rate you see, and it will be available to you on that particular corridor and container size for 30 calendar days from purchase.

The option to ‘lock rate’ will be shown alongside the daily rate offer when you search for a new shipment. Select Lock rate to see further details including the non-refundable fee, which starts at 50 USD and varies depending on the trade route.

If you have purchased the lock rate option for a particular trade route, you will only see that rate when you search for that route, until the lock rate expires.
