To support increased flexibility across our inland network, Maersk will enable the option to convert transport moves from rail to truck when required. When a conversion from rail to truck is requested, the following surcharges will apply effective July 1, 2026.

Surcharge Applicability
Applies when rail bookings are converted to truck service at customer request or due to operational requirements.
STS and STD apply when the shipment is executed as a single-container truck move.
Charges:
- Applied per container
- Reflected as separate line items on the invoice
- Based on the final inland execution mode (truck vs. rail)
Not applicable when:
- The shipment remains rail-based with no service change
- Contractual terms explicitly include or exclude such conversion costs
