Intermodal Fuel Fee update in (Singapore)

Due to the ongoing volatility in the Middle East and its impact on global oil production and refining, the logistics sector continues to face rapid and significant increases in fuel prices. To ensure uninterrupted service across our nationwide trucking network, Maersk Logistics and Services Singapore Pte Ltd will be implementing an Emergency Fuel Fee (EFF) for inland transport services.

This adjustment is an independent commercial decision made solely by Maersk, based on our own operating conditions and cost movements. It is a contractual and operational cost-recovery measure, and not a Force Majeure declaration.

The surcharge is a temporary measure, intended to maintain capacity, safeguard service reliability, and respond to the sudden and sustained rise in fuel-related operating expense.

Coverage

Jurong Area SGD 35 per trip
Non Jurong Area SGD 50 per trip
The EFF will apply to inland haulage nationwide.

Effective from 16 March 2026 (price calculation date) and until further notice we are implementing an Emergency Fuel Fee (EFF)

(*) For non-FMC shipments, the price calculation date is the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first vessel shown in the most recent booking confirmation issued at the customer’s request.

(*) For FMC shipments, the price calculation date is the date on which Maersk A/S, or one of its authorised agents, takes possession of the last container listed on the transport document. For FMC, the Intermodal Fuel Fee applies from 16 March 2026.
