Situation Update – Vessel Source Blessing

We are writing to inform you of an incident involving the time-chartered vessel Source Blessing that occurred early Thursday morning, 12th March (local time) in the Persian Gulf.

First and foremost, we are relieved to confirm that all crew members are safe and accounted for. The 3,200 TEU container vessel, experienced a fire onboard, which has now been successfully extinguished. According to the preliminary information from owners, no impact to the containers have been reported at this time. A further assessment will be conducted once the vessel arrives at a safe port. We are in close contact with the vessel owners and are working together to manage the situation while providing our full support as required.

We understand the concern this situation may cause and want to assure you that our teams are actively monitoring the developments and coordinating closely with all relevant parties. Further updates will be shared as soon as additional information becomes available.
