EFS/IFS fuel surcharge

Due to the recent volatility and increase in diesel prices driven by current geopolitical developments, we would like to inform you that a Fuel Adjustment Mechanism (Fuel Surcharge) will be applied to our road transportation services, effective from 11 March 2026.

The baseline diesel price is set at 1.58 €/liter, corresponding to the market price on 02 December 2025, when the current transportation tender and base rates were finalized.

The Fuel Adjustment Factor will be evaluated on a weekly basis, depending on the fluctuation of diesel prices compared to the baseline value.

Based on the current diesel price development, a Fuel Adjustment of +5% will be applied to the agreed transport rates with charge code IFE/IFI according to the fuel adjustment matrix.

The calculation follows the below scale:

% Change in Diesel Rate → % Change in Trip Rate

  • 0% to (+/-) 4.99% → No adjustment
  • (+/-) 5% to (+/-) 9.99% → (+/-) 3%
  • (+/-) 10% to (+/-) 14.99% → (+/-) 5%
  • (+/-) 15% to (+/-) 19.99% → (+/-) 7.5%
  • (+/-) 20% to (+/-) 24.99% → (+/-) 10%
  • (+/-) 25% to (+/-) 29.99% → (+/-) 12.5%
  • (+/-) 30% to (+/-) 34.99% → (+/-) 15%

The fuel adjustment level will be reviewed weekly and adjusted accordingly depending on diesel price fluctuations.
