Due to adverse weather conditions expected to affect shipping movements at the Port of Brisbane, the Eastern Australia Connect vessel MAERSK FREMANTLE 529S will omit the Brisbane southbound call to mitigate delays along with any further disruption to the schedule.
The below contingency plan has been secured for affected cargo:
- MAERSK FREMANTLE 529S Brisbane exports (routing via Sydney) will be updated to load CMA CGM ETOSHA 530S.
- MAERSK FREMANTLE 529S Brisbane imports (from the hubs) will remain onboard the vessel through Sydney and will now discharge on the Brisbane northbound call (import voyage 529S).
- MAERSK FREMANTLE 532N Sydney exports will be updated to load CMA CGM ETOSHA 533N due to expected vessel draft limitations while transiting through to the Brisbane northbound call (to discharge BNE imports).
- MAERSK FREMANTLE 532N Sydney to Brisbane imports will be updated to load CMA CGM ETOSHA 533N.
