We would like to inform you about an important update regarding the new Digital Delivery Order (DDO) service on Trade+, recently introduced by Dubai Trade.
Starting 1 August 2025, a fee of AED 100 (USD27) will apply for DDO transactions on Trade+ for Shipping Agents and Freight Forwarders. This will support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the platform.
Trade+ was designed to revolutionize trade operations in Dubai, and it significantly boosts efficiency/speed across our supply chain and logistics sectors by digitizing and streamlining key processes.
Since its launch, Trade+ has delivered substantial benefits to our users, including:
- Unprecedented speed: Up to a 90% reduction in cargo release times.
- Simplified processes: A significantly optimized four-step process (from nine steps).
- Cost savings: Reduced operational costs associated with manual processes and delays.
- Enhanced environmental friendliness: Trade+ provides a 100% paperless solution.
These advancements have been made possible through substantial investments in platform development and digital infrastructure. To build on this progress and support the sustainability and continued evolution of Trade+, Dubai Trade will be introducing an Agent DDO Fee.
This decision is aligned with Administrative Decision No. 2 of 2023 on the Transparency of Local Sea Container Charges in Dubai, which mandates the digitalization of Delivery Orders through the Dubai Trade Single Window and authorizes a charge for the service.
