June 16th, 2025 – Update 1
In light of the recent escalations in the Middle East that began on June 12, 2025, we would like to provide our customers with an update on the evolving situation and its potential impact on A.P. Moller – Maersk services.
Our immediate priority remains the safety and well-being of our colleagues in affected areas. We are pleased to confirm that all Maersk employees are currently safe. As a precaution, we have advised teams in impacted locations to work remotely. In parallel, we have activated our business continuity procedures to minimize potential disruptions to operations and service delivery.
Air operations in Israel are currently suspended due to the airport’s ongoing closure. In Jordan, the airspace has experienced multiple closures over the past two days, resulting in disruptions to air operations. Our Security & Business Continuity team is monitoring the situation closely to ensure the safety of our people and maintain continuity of operations.
We are coordinating closely with relevant stakeholders to monitor developments and respond swiftly to any changes that may affect our customers or their cargo. We are committed to keeping you informed as the situation evolves and are prepared to offer alternative logistics solutions should the need arise.
Our teams are here to support you. Please contact your local Maersk representative with any questions.
