We would like to inform you that, due to delays experienced in Cape Town over the weekend and the windbound status at NCT, further schedule pushbacks are anticipated. As a result, the berthing of Nele Maersk 502A in Cape Town has been affected.
Consequently, the Maersk Zambezi 506E is currently expected to arrive in Jebel Ali with a delay of 2 days, with the possibility of further adjustments. This situation introduces uncertainty regarding the Estimated Time of Berth (ETB) at Jebel Ali and raises the risk of the APL Holland 507E berthing ahead of the Maersk Zambezi 506E.
To minimize disruptions, we will be transferring the reefer bookings originally planned for the Nele Maersk 502A to the APL Holland 507E. This measure aims to prevent additional delays to the Maersk Zambezi 506E and ensure that your cargo reaches its destination on time. Please note that no additional reefer boxes will be accepted as stacks will be closed with immediate effect.
Additionally, please note that the Maersk Zambezi 506E will now berth ahead of the Nele Maersk 502A in Coega.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support. Our team is closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated with any significant developments.
Thank you for your continued trust in our services.”
