We would like to inform you that, based on your feedback on commercial credit notes and reading of GST regulations in India, credit notes that do not qualify as tax credit notes under GST provisions are issued as commercial credit notes, which are purely financial documents by nature.
These financial documents do not have any impact on the invoices issued earlier in relation to taxes thereon.
Please note that as, a customer, there is no adverse financial impact on you due to the issuance of commercial credit notes. Further, you are open to evaluating the impact of such a commercial credit note independently based on your prudence.
