Change in transit customs document from EU ports

Your partnership remains of the utmost importance to us, and as your integrated logistics partner, our aim at A. P. Moller Maersk is to ensure that your supply chain moves with agility, connectivity, and ease. As the go-live date for change in customs clearance of import shipments for delivery to Czech Republic and Slovakia is quickly approaching, we would like to remind you of the below information. As of 5 April 2023, containers on all our trains from Bremerhaven will be running with individual T1 NCTS (New Computerised Transit System) documents instead of CIM bulk document.

What does it mean for you?

• Delivery orders need to have HS codes with 8 digits.
• Commercial invoice and packing list need to be provided latest 7 working days prior vessel ETA.
• Expanded Delivery Order form on e-maersk.eu
• number and type of packages
• gross weight
• invoice no.
• cargo value is needed for each HS 8-digit code (cargo type) together with cargo description.

To accompany the last requirement, the Delivery Order form on e-maersk.eu has been amended and we kindly ask that you include this compulsory data in the order. Without this information, we will not able to issue T1 documents and your container will not be able to depart from the port.

While the hard start date for Koper will be later this year, the updated Delivery Order is already available in the system.
