Inland services in Slovakia

Maersk’s entire inland service includes technologically advanced depots. Our depots will ensure efficient container handling which in turn improves truck, rail, and barge turn times. With our depots, we are able to provide you a complete logistical solution.

Intermodal Conditions for Slovakia file contain all necessary information that are need to realize transport with Maersk and Sealand.

Most important notes:

1. Free time for loading/unloading and customs clearance since arrival to the first delivery place is:
• 3 hours for RCO (rail + truck);
2. Trucking transport can be cancelled till 10:00 one working day before loading/delivery for free. After that cancellation fee apply which is 325 EUR per container. If the container has already left the terminal, the late cancellation fee is calculated as per the real occurred costs.
3. Surcharge for transportation of dangerous goods equals to 60 EUR per box in case of Rail Combined mode of transport. In case of Direct truck surcharge is calculated on ad hoc basis. IMO classes 1 and 7 are not accepted.
